Veterans are passionate about service to our country - and here at ACC Adult Home Care, we are passionate about caring for them. We believe that years of sacrifice and hard work deserve to be honored and we are all indebted to their service. As veterans age, certain activities are harder to perform and assistance may be needed. Thankfully, there are services abound to help ease the stresses of the Golden Years; and there are also resources available to Active Duty veterans who may need financial assistance. Assistance through the Federal government can be obtained if you qualify medically and financially. to qualify medically, you must be in need of assistance with your ADL's (Activities of Daily Living). This includes eating, bathing, dressing, and mobility. To qualify financially, you'll need to have less than $80,000 in assets, not including your home and vehicle.
Assistance may be available for both the veteran and his/her spouse with monthly benefits capping around $2,800. To request benefits, you'll need to have copies of information regarding your net worth, medical history (including insurance coverage and medical bills), as well as your military service paperwork.
